Curtin Malaysia Foundation programmes a pathway to world-class tertiary education for SPM school-leavers

Miri – 7 March 2018 – School leavers who are due to receive their SPM results on 15 March and are keen to undergo Foundation studies at Curtin University Malaysia (Curtin Malaysia) can apply for its March (Semester 1) intake before the commencement of classes on 26 March 2018.

Curtin Malaysia, Curtin University’s largest international campus and global hub in Asia, offers quality, world-class degree courses in engineering and science, business and humanities identical to those at Curtin’s main campus in Perth at affordable Malaysian fees. Its one-year Foundation programmes in Engineering and Science, Commerce and Arts (Media) feed directly into the degree programmes.

In addition, degrees earned at Curtin Malaysia are awarded directly by the main campus, and undergraduate students can transfer to the main campus or Curtin’s other international campuses in Singapore and Dubai to complete their degrees.

To find out more about the current intake and studies at Curtin Malaysia, potential students and their parents are invited to attend the Curtin Academic Open Day at its campus here from 10 am to 4 pm on 17 March 2018.

The event will feature showcases of Curtin Malaysia’s three faculties, activities and talks relating to tertiary studies and careers, and tours of the campus. There will also be a Future Students Booth for enquiries and course counselling. Students are advised to bring their examination results for assessment and on-the-spot applications.

Curtin Malaysia will also be represented at the CT Academic Go Study Education Fair at Imperial Palace Hotel Miri and L&P Consultant Education Fair Pullman Miri Waterfront on 10 March 2018.

Similar recruitment events are also being held in other locations in Sarawak, as well as in Sabah and West Malaysia. Details of the events can be found at http://futurestudents.curtin.edu.my/how-to-apply/recruitment-events/.
