All engineering programmes at Curtin Malaysia are fully accredited by Engineers Australia, and the Engineering Accreditation Council of Malaysia, and for Chemical Engineering, by IChemE,UK as well.
The Faculty of Business is one of the leading providers of business education nationally, offering a comprehensive range of business courses from the Curtin Business School, which is accredited by the prestigious Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB). Strong connections with industry partners ensures that students are aligned with the latest industry trends and the faculty boasts an impressive graduate employability rate due to such connections.
The Faculty of Humanities is a growing faculty, with the undergraduate degree in Media and Communications and the postgraduate Masters in Project Management proving hugely popular.
Meanwhile, all three faculties offer foundation courses that are intensive, focused one-year courses which prepare students for undergraduate study in their chosen fields. The students gain a solid foundation to approach university education more confidently, both in terms of level and style.

Curtin Malaysia offers many undergraduate courses in subject areas in which Curtin University has achieved world rankings under the QS World University Rankings by Subject 2017. They include being No. 2 in the world for Mineral and Mining Engineering; top 100 for Earth and Marine Sciences; top 150 for Chemical Engineering, and Civil and Structural Engineering; and top 200 for Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Environmental Sciences, Accounting and Finance, and Business and Management Studies.

Curtin University is currently ranked in the top one percent of universities worldwide in the highly regarded Academic Ranking of World Universities (ARWU) 2017 and rose significantly to 262nd position in the world in the QS World University Ranking (QSWUR) 2017-18. Its continued rise up the university rankings is an assurance of the quality education it provides, including at its campuses in Malaysia, Singapore and Dubai.
Last November, Curtin Malaysia retained its Tier 5 or ‘Excellent’ rating for the fourth consecutive time under Malaysia’s Rating System for Higher Education Institutions (SETARA 2017), affirming its commitment to quality education. It also retained its self-accreditation status awarded by the Malaysian Qualifications Agency (MQA), and remains the only institution in East Malaysia rated Tier 5 rating for engineering in the discipline-based D-SETARA rating system.
Curtin Malaysia’s intake for the first semester is now in progress with classes for undergraduate programmes commencing on 26 February 2018 and foundation programmes on 26 March 2018.
